I wake up at the crack of dawn at my campsite. This was the only
half way decent sleep that I have gotten from when I arrived into town.
I walk down 1st street and come across something called
Z-Trans which is the City of Alamogordo public transportation
system. I walk into the public assistance center which is also
the bus depot and ask about route information. All route information
is contained in a simple handy phamplet. As there are only three routes,
a single publication can contain everything that you need.
JOY! There is a bus which goes strait to the Holoman Air Force Base
from the WalMart parking lot. As I lost my money, I wouldn't be able
to afford a taxi cab. Cost for riding one way only $1.
Now off to WalMart for a potty break and to get some breakfast!
In the sky I see a lone hot air balloon. How neat! I am told that
there is a yearly hot air balloon festival in the area and that during
that time, there are many balloons afloat. This must have been a straggler
as the festival was actually a few weeks ago.
For lunch I decide that I can afford Pizza Hut buffet. Yummy!
